In today's complicated work environments we often have at least two, and sometimes three or four generations of workers coexisting. Generation Xers have different expectations than Baby Boomers, who, on the other hand, have different mind-sets from the Traditional group of employees. This class is entitled "Generations At Work" because its purpose is to discuss, explore, learn about and develop comfort levels about what it means to have multiple generations working together. This interactive program explores the value systems that belong to each of these generations and lays a foundation for better understanding, improved communication and more effective work relationships.
A 4 hour program designed to: enhance participants’ awareness of their perceptions and attitudes about differences; gain an introduction to self-management skills; and to establish personal and organizational goals to ensure that all employees are included and fully utilized.
Participants explore the nuances and challenges that face today’s worker with regard to interpersonal relationships at work. Attention is paid to the basic issues of respect, fair treatment, and defining sexual harassment. Through video, interactive exercises, and case studies, participants get realistic, clear information about their own responsibility for appropriate, respectful relationships at work.

This 4 hour course gives such workers insights and techniques to develop more effective relationships with people joining the workforce for the first time.
